STALLIONS

We have two gorgeous stallions standing at Tannasg Arabians, Psyches Boy and Tannasg Ansomrob. Both selected for breeding duties for their superb conformation, outstanding movement and wonderful temperaments they are both consistently producing lovely young stock. We are proud that they are both AHS Premium Scheme Merit Stallions.

Both stallions are available at stud for all breeds and types of mares. So far mares that have been used on our boys have ranged from purebred Arabs and Thoroughbreds to Fell ponies and Mustangs. The boys are available via natural coverings or AI through the Scotland AI centre with fresh and chilled semen available. Please contact us for more information.

PSYCHES BOY

Psyches Boy is the senior breeding stallion at Tannasg Arabians, he is by the famous Padron Psyche and throughout his breeding career here has constantly produced top class young horses who have gone on to compete at top level endurance as well as show their talents in the dressage arena, on the hunting field and as loving companions. His natural athleticism, elastic, elegant paces and lovely temperament make Psyches Boy an excellent stallion as well as a pleasure to handle and live with.

Psyches Boy has been assessed and accepted as an Arab Horse Society Premium Merit stallion as part of the premium performance scheme. "The Arab Horse Society operates a Premium Performance Scheme in furtherance of one of its specific aims of breed improvement and to encourage the breeding of horses which are not only beautiful, but can also perform."

TANNASG ANSOMROB

Tannasg Ansomrob is our gorgeous homebred stallion who encompasses all that we look for in one of our horses, excellent conformation, easy elegant movement and a lovely temperament. Ansomrob has competed up to FEI 1* 80km level, proving to have fast recovery times and excelling in large, busy environments. He has also proved himself to be a tough competition horse, he is currently the only stallion to have completed the extremely tough Cairngorm 100 challenge (100 miles, 1 horse, 1 day). He completed the last 20 miles of this challenge on his own, in the dark and never wavered.

Ansomrob now has some stunning progeny on the ground, pure, Anglo and part breds and is passing on his athleticism, conformation and wonderful temperament. His first foal, 2019 Anglo gelding Tannasg Adonis, was awarded a Gold award at the 2020 British Breeding Futurity Awards and was the joint highest scoring yearling assessed over all disciplines.

Ansomrob is a real family horse due to his easy nature and desire to be with people, this has ensured he has quite a fan club!
